NEVER EVER INSTALL A NEW CAMSHAFT WITHOUT NEW LIFTERS IN YOUR VOLKSWAGEN ENGINE.;SCAT Lifters have a thin head that gives more lift before clearance issues arise, and it's wider to prevent scuffing on the fast ramps on some aggressive camshafts. These lifters have the proper 60 degree radius head on the lifter.
