The Late Model VW Oil Cooler Seal is a stepped seal with 16mm OD rings on either side of the seal and are used on late model, dual relief engine cases. The oil cooler seal mounts between the oil cooler and the case adapter and the adapted and the case on 1971 through 1977 Standard Beetles, 1971 through 1979 Super Beetles and 1971 Type 2 Bus models which will use a total of 4 seals. The oil cooler seal mounts between the oil cooler and the case on 1971 through 1973 Type 3s, 1972 through 1979 Type 2 Bus models and 1980 through 1983 Vanagons which will use 2 seals.
