EMPI's VW Transaxle Drain Plug is a 17mm Allen Head and fits a 3/8 Inch Drive Ratchet. The Allen drive socket can be used to remove or install the transmission drain or fill plugs and also fits the IRS Suspension Pivot Bolt.

Use this tool to drain the oil from the transaxle.

EMPI s VW 12 Point CV Bolt Socket fits the 6mm, 12 point drive for the CV Joint Bolts. The socket fits 3/8 drive ratchets. The 12 point CV Joint Tool is a must for removing old grease and dirt packed CV joint bolts. Don t try to use a 6mm Allen head with 12 point bolts as they are easily stripped!

This tool has been designing to simplify the task of adjusting clutch cables on air cooled VWs having wing nuts. The tool has four gripping areas- rather than the wing nuts two- which provides for greater ease in turning the nut.
