Heavy duty steel retainers are the perfect replacements for thin stamped stock axle tube retainers. Precision machined to eliminate leaking gaskets and o-rings. One pair fits all vws with swing axle transmissions and can be used when trans is assembled

When using a swing-axle trans in off-road and severe conditions. It is common for the axle tube retaining plates to bend or bow. This causes transmission oil leaks and can also lead to axle breakage. This kit reinforces the stock retaining covers and makes this problem a thing of the past.
