EMPI's Single Port End Castings Installation Kit includes intake manifold to head gaskets, intake manifold boots as well as the large and small boot clamps. The single port manifold install kit fits 1966 through 1970 Beetles and Karmann Ghias and 1963 through 1970 Type 2 Bus models that are using a dual port style intake manifold center section.

EMPI Single Port Intake Manifold End Casting Kit allows the installation of Progressive, EGAS or IDF/HPMX carburetor kits on;1966 through 1970 Beetles and Karmann Ghias as well as 1963 through 1970 Type 2 Bus models. The intake manifold kit includes the left and right single port end castings, intake manifold gaskets, and the intake manifold boots and clamps.

Single Port

This manifold allows the use of 30 pict-1, 31 pict-3 or 34 pict-3 carburetors without adapters. Manifold flange is drilled for either stud pattern and comes with heat risers, gaskets, and plugs.

Dual Port

This is a adapter plate to allow a stock carb setup to be run with an alternator conversion kit. Bolt spacing is 2-1/8 inches and lifts the carb 1 to allow for clearance when installing for alternator. The carb spacer includes the spacer, upper and lower gaskets and extension studs with nuts and washers. Carburetor: Solex/Brosol 28 30 Thickness: 1 inches Bolt Spacing: 2-1/8 inches

EMPI's Type 3/4 Intake Center Manifold Kit accepts Weber DFV or DGV series, the EMPI EPC 32/36F or 38EPC, or Holley 5200 series carburetors. The center plenum has 4 outlets that attach to the separately sold intake runners which are available for Type 3 Dual Port and Type 2 or 4 1700, 1800 and 2000cc engines. The intake manifold kit includes the center plenum, carburetor mounting studs, washers and gasket, mounting brackets (for Type 3 or 2/4 engines) with hardware, and a vacuum port plug, single outlet port and a T port.
