The heads on the Type 1 Volkwagen engine are secured to the case using sixteen 8mm studs and nuts. The nuts are 8 x 1.5 thread pitch. They fit 1967 to 1977 Standard beetle, 1971 to 1979 Super Beetle, 1967 to 1974 Karmann Ghia, 1963 to 1971 Type 2 (Bus), 1966 to 1973 Type 3 (Notchback, Squareback, Fastback), and 1973 to 1974 Thing models. The nuts are made of steel and sold individually. Sixteen are required per car. -
