The EMPI Large Bore Buggy Master Cylinder has a 22mm diameter center bore so it has the volume to handle 2 or 4 wheel disc brake set ups. The large bore buggy master cylinder is based on a pre 1966 Type 2 master cylinder and comes with the thread on brake fluid reservoir. The master cylinder is compact enough for most dune buggys and sand rails. The all in one master and reservoir makes mounting a breeze without the need to fabricate a mount for a remote reservoir. The buggy master cylinder has 4, 10x1.0mm threaded ports for brake lines or brake light switches.

The Bus based master cylinder comes with an aluminum brake fluid reservoir that threads into the master cylinder. The thread on reservoir is perfect for cars with limited mounting room for a remote fluid reservoir. The buggy master cylinder has 4, 10x1.0mm threaded ports for brake lines or brake light switches.

This rubber grommet fits into the top of the master cylinder where the plastic feed tube fits. These need to be replaced if they are cracked, as this will allow air into your brake system.
