This transmission gasket set has everything you will need to overhaul your swing axle or type 1 transmission.
Beetle Type 1: 61-79

Kit includes all the gaskets and O-rings required to assemble a Type 2 Bus 002 style standard transmission. These gasket sets are manufactured by an O.E. supplier. Each gasket is cut from material of the same type and thickness as original. Note- the drive flange and cup seals are not included. FITS: Bus 1968 to 1975

These are the seals that tap into the drive flanges on type 1 vw IRS transmissions. Behind these seals is the snap ring to hold the drive flange to the output shaft on the transmission. Over time these can become dislodged or begin leaving. They are pressed in and should be replaced whenever you have a CV joint off
Type 3: 69-74 -
Axle tube gaskets are used on vw swing axle transmissions between the case and the 6 bolt flange that holds the axle tube on. These are also considered shims to help adjust the axle tube. You will need to start with 6 shims and remove 1 at a time until the axle has a steady but controlled drop.

These special urethane seals fit right into the cv joint flanges to prevent the axles from beating the transmissions. Tough urethane will not tear or flatten like stock seals. For use with T1 to T2 conversion drive flanges and T1 stock drive flanges. Sold in pairs

Replacement seal for the final drive on all inches 091 inches 6 rib transmission. This is the seal that goes into the side cover and seals around the splined stub that comes out from the ring and pinion. It is behind the CV Flange.
