The VW Front Crankshaft Pulley-fan Seal installs into the engine case behind the fan pulley. It seals the pulley hub to the engine case and crankshaft to keep debris out and oil in. The front pulley seal fits 1972 through 1979 Type 2 Bus models and 1980 through 1983 Vanagons.
