Stock style shift shaft. Replace a worn out shift rod with this raw shaft. Made extra long to fit almost any VW based project. Will need to cut to length. Works best when used with one of our aftermarket, weld on, adjustable shift couplers # 5528 Early style and #AC710002L Late Style.

This item eliminates adjustment problems on shift rods due to excessive wear bending etc. Ideal when shortening a shift rod for a rail application. Kit comes with adjusting nut. For use with our early style couplers, 111-711-175B or 5548. WELDING REQUIRED

Replacement shifter coupler bolt. These screw into the early style shift couplers and will anchor into the detent in the nose cone shift shaft and into the shift rod shift adjuster. Make sure to wire tie these together after you have made your adjustments to keep them from backing back out. 2 are required per coupler.
