STOCK EXHAUST for Type 3 Squareback 1970

This great little item eliminates all the installation problems occurred when installing an exhaust on a new motor. Kit includes all clamps gaskets seals and hardware necessary to install all types of exhaust systems.

The muffler installation gasket kit fits 40 horsepower 1200cc through 1600cc VW air cooled engines used in VW Beetles and Karmann Ghias 1963 through 1974 and 1974 Things with fresh air heater boxes.

Featuring the EMPI premium extractor made from 1-3/8 inches 16 gauge steel.
Mandrell bent for smooth flow and good looks. Extra thick flanges are surface ground to ensure flat sealing surface and finish ground on I.D's
Collector is centered and the small 3 bolt flange is at the 1:00 position.
Comes with high quality gasketsm, stainless bolts and copper nuts to resist corrosion. Fits 1300 to 1600cc engines

The least restrictive dual muffler system available that will still give you adequate exhaust note muffle. The system tends to be louder than the dual quiet-pack muffler, which still produces a low-throaty note. For use with heat exchanger or J-tube exhausts.
