This is the inner bearing on a vw IRS rear trailing arm. This is put in from the CV side. If you hear a lot of clunking or ticking, it is time to replace. These take a lot of abuse expecially in a offroad situation.

Replacement rear axle seal for all type- 1 applications. These go both on the inside of the trailing arm by the cv joint and also on the outside under the 4 bolt bearing cap.
This works on both IRS and swing axle transmssions.
Swing axles only need 1 per side but IRS will require 2

Replacement seal kit kit. This kit will work for both IRS and Swing Axles applications. A must if replacing bearings or installing disc brakes. Keep the oil from running into the brake drum on swing axles and keep out the dirt

IRS bearing housing clip to snap your bearings into place. This goes on the CV joint side of the arm and is snapped into the bearing carrier. This is often times not needed as the stub pinches the bearings into place.
